Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea Recipes
Updated
Echoes of Teradea never tells you what goes into a dish: you learn a recipe only by cooking it once. This list collects the 52 recipes players have confirmed so far, sorted by cooking utensil, with the ingredients that work and the dishes that warm you up, cool you down or keep you awake.
How cooking works
- Seven ways to cook: six kitchen utensils (saucepan, frying pan, stockpot, oven, blender and cutting board) plus the campfire at campsites. The same ingredients give different dishes in different utensils, so pick the utensil first.
- Up to four ingredients. Many recipes accept any item from a group (any rice, any milk, any shellfish), so you don't always need the exact variety.
- Cooked once = learned. After the first success the recipe shows in your recipe tab, and you can cook it again from there.
- Failures become hodgepodge. A combination that matches nothing gives a hodgepodge dish and uses up the ingredients. Save before testing rare items.
- Read the shelves. Bookshelves in houses and town halls show a recipe each; the Ahi Poke recipe sits in Tidewind's town hall. Shop descriptions of dishes also list their ingredients.

Warming, cooling and Wakeful food
- Warming for Quarrytop and the snowfields: hot drinks such as Hot Milk, Black Tea and Chamomile Tea, and Stew. A wolf companion keeps you warm as well (see pet skills).
- Cooling for the Sand Sea: Cherry Juice and Iced Chamomile Tea from the blender.
- Wakeful lets you stay up past midnight without passing out: Coffee or an Energy Mushroom. Stay awake past midnight and you get Night Owl, which you need for the chained Power Statues (see the walkthrough).
Raising star quality
Quests late in the story ask for starred dishes, for example a two-star Apple Jam Baguette in Quarrytop's second chapter. What worked for players:
- Grow wheat on a field with good soil and fertilize it every day; most of the harvest comes out 2-star.
- Bake the 2-star wheat into a 2-star Baguette, then add Apple Jam (any quality) in the oven.
- If the result drops to 1 star, put it back in the oven as the first ingredient and add one more 2-star wheat (or 3-star milk). It comes out 2-star.
Each recipe here was reported by players and matches the dish and utensil in a published recipe index. Last checked October 22, 2026. Found one that isn't listed? The game has many more, and we add them as they're confirmed.
Frequently asked questions
How do you make Jambalaya in Echoes of Teradea?
Use the frying pan with Rice (any, Ancient Rice works) + Onion + Bell Pepper. Plain rice works; Ancient Rice adds a star. Don't forget the onion: it's the ingredient people most often leave out.
How do you make Cherry Pie in Echoes of Teradea?
Cherry + Wheat + Butter in the oven. Leave the egg out: with an egg it fails. If a quest just needs one, Bloomfield's restaurant sells Cherry Pie.
How do you make Pumpkin Potage Soup?
Pumpkin + Milk + Butter in the stockpot. It doesn't work in the saucepan. Pumpkins only become available after Quarrytop's first chapter.
How do you unlock the campfire for cooking?
Find Theresa near one of the campsites and finish her quest. She gives you the camping set, and you can then cook skewers over the fire wherever you camp.
What happens if a recipe fails?
You get a hodgepodge dish (stir-fry, soup, drink, bread or grill) and the ingredients are gone. Hodgepodge still sells, sometimes for more than the raw ingredients, but save before you experiment with rare items.
How do you get a two-star dish for a quest?
Star ratings come from the ingredients. Grow higher-star crops with fertilizer, or use Ancient Wheat and Ancient Rice, which add a star on their own. You can also put a finished dish back in the utensil with one more high-star ingredient to raise it: a 1-star Apple Jam Baguette plus 2-star wheat or 3-star milk became 2-star for several players.
