Loftia Demo: What's In It, Rewards and What to Do First

What to do first in the demo

1. Pick your character name with care. It carries into Early Access and is held for you until February 3, 2027.
2. Reach the Player Neighborhood (about ten minutes in) to unlock the Demo Banner, then link your email and claim it on loftia.gg.
3. Lock down your plot. Press B, then Tab, then V for guest permissions: set the farm to private or friends-only so visitors can't harvest your crops.
4. Make cherry smoothies for your first Dew. Cherries no longer sell raw in the demo. Buy sugar from Kun for 5 Dew, pick cherries from the bushes around Loftia City, and a Fruit Smoothie sells for 20 Dew. More in the money guide.
5. Donate to World Projects every day. Project Bot and Jun take daily donations, and the rewards buy community cosmetics that are only on sale for a limited time.

Loftia demo times in your time zone

The studio gives 1 pm EDT on October 19. The US and Europe are both still on daylight saving time that day, so the demo unlocks at 17:00 UTC — an hour earlier in UTC than the Early Access launch on November 3.

What's in the demo

The demo is the start of the real game, not a separate slice. It covers Loftia City, the first of the three districts, and stops just before you reach the Hanging Gardens. According to Qloud Games, you can:

• The opening Loftia City questline and its NPCs
• Salvaging resources and growing crops
• Setting up and decorating a home in a shared neighborhood
• Adventures: group puzzles and challenges
• World Projects you contribute to with other players
• Social minigames

Progress and character names carry over

• Progress is kept. Anything you complete or collect in the demo stays with your character when Early Access begins a week after the demo closes.
• Your character name is kept. Pick it with care — it is the name you start Early Access with.
• One character per account during the demo. More slots open in Early Access.
• Names are held for three months. If you don't log into Early Access between November 3, 2026 and February 3, 2027, the name is released for other players.

Demo rewards and how to keep them

1. Play the demo during Next Fest week, October 19–26.
2. Enter the Player Neighborhood for the first time. The studio says you can reach it in the first ten minutes. This unlocks the Demo Banner, which is only available to players who join during the demo.
3. Link your email address and claim the reward on loftia.gg. Without this step the reward isn't saved to your account for Early Access.

The studio's demo reward graphic also shows Pebble's Armchair, a decoration, and extra rewards for inviting friends to play the demo during the week. The separate pre-registration rewards are covered on the release date page.
