Deep Dish Dungeon Walkthrough and Puzzle Solutions
Updated
Deep Dish Dungeon gives you no quest log, so here is the route to the credits in eight steps: the forge keys, the two bosses, the Axe, the four gems and the pizza that opens the last room. Below it are the puzzle solutions and where every tool is. Checked against two player walkthroughs on October 23, 2026, patch 1.0.50.
Route to the credits
1. Opening and the hub
Reach the hub camp, get the Hammer
Cook an apple and mushroom, climb the pillar left of camp, find the key under the broken pillar. In the hub, lower the water with the wheel behind the stairs, craft a rope (2 vines + stick), swim past the eel with full stamina and climb the rusty pipe to the Hammer.
2. Forge and the Silver Dagger
Forge keys
Break the rusty gate down the stairs right of the big door. Carry the mold to the forge. Each key: 5 coal + 8 scrap metal, pull the lever. Make the iron key, the prison key and the three key pieces; the three-piece door hides the Silver Dagger.
3. Spider prison → Tomato Gem
First boss
Small key from the end of the sloping cave, then the plank bridge. Burn webs with a right-hand torch, fix levers with Iron Rods and Chains, grab the Pickaxe in the lower prison, power the cells with the three fuse switches and ride the elevator up. Jump on the giant spider's back from a pillar and hit it.
4. Sewers → Guarana Gem
Second boss
Pickaxe the yellow goo, drain three water wheels (grappling hook for the last one), time the water clock, fix the boat with an Iron Rod and Chains, carry the gate handle on a floating crate. In the arena, hug the walls, turn every wheel to drain the water and hit the moray eel until it's dead.
5. Crypt → Axe and Bean Gem
Axe
From the goblin cave opposite the double doors to the hub, go down two flights to the overgrown cave: the Axe is at the end. The Bean Gem lies at the statue's feet at the very bottom of the crypt.
6. Upper ruins → Corn Gem
Last gem
Hub stairs → left → left over the plank → spiral stairs UP. Grapple to the door high on the left wall, cross the room and cut the roots with the Axe: the Corn Gem and a Grinding Stone are in the chest.
7. Fountain, corn and the Lantern
Optional but useful
Grapple through the gap above the locked door, blow up the rocks by the fountain and pull its lever (corn grows). Collect the three puzzle hints (constellation, sundial, wall patterns) and open the astronomy-room door for the Lantern.
8. Deep Dish Pizza and the Seed
Credits
Place all four gems on the statues before the last room. Make Corn Dough (wild corn + water bottle) on the Cooking Table, collect Cheese and Tomatoes above the Corn Gem room, craft the Raw Deep Dish Pizza, bake it in an oven, offer it and push the altar to the end, killing golden skeletons whenever it locks.
Puzzle solutions
Dining hall gold door (three plates)
| Dish | Cook in the pot |
|---|---|
| Cooked Veggies | Any 2 vegetables |
| Meat Soup | 2 meat |
| Bean Soup | 2 black beans |
Inside: a skeleton with the Queen Crown.
Astronomy-room door (the Lantern)
| Ring | Set it to | Hint |
|---|---|---|
| Small | The rose | The constellation spinning around the astronomy room |
| Middle | Symbol with a sprout shape in the middle | Where the sundial points |
| Large | Two V shapes with a dot on top | The one symbol missing from the wall patterns |
Six statues (crypt, Crystal Egg)
You need six clay statues: two are in the room, the rest are cast at the press mold for 16 clay each. Turn them to follow the bone snake's path. The Steam guide gives this order, top of the diagram to bottom: 6 ⬇, 3 ⬉, 5 ⬈, 2 ⬉, 1 ⬈, 4 ⬋. Check it against the snake mural before you commit.
Final altar
The floor by the big double doors spells out the offering (light it with Azurea mushrooms): Corn Dough, Cheese and Tomato. Recipes are on the cooking page.

Frequently asked questions
How do you beat the giant spider in Deep Dish Dungeon?
Climb something tall (the pillar near the arena start works) and jump onto its back. From there you can hit it freely with melee attacks. It drops the Tomato Gem.
How do you beat the eel boss in Deep Dish Dungeon?
Stick to the walls so it can't reach you, and turn every wheel around the arena to drain the water. When the water is gone, hit the eel in the centre until the water refills, then repeat. It drops the Guarana Gem.
What is the dining hall door puzzle (three plates) in Deep Dish Dungeon?
Put three dishes on the table: Cooked Veggies (any 2 vegetables in the pot), Meat Soup (2 meat) and Bean Soup (2 black beans). The gold door opens to the Queen Crown.
What is the Lantern door code in Deep Dish Dungeon?
Small ring: the rose (the spinning constellation). Middle ring: the symbol the sundial points to, the one with a sprout shape in the middle. Large ring: the symbol missing from the wall patterns, two V shapes with a dot on top. A wrong answer only revives the skeleton by the door.
What do you offer at the final altar in Deep Dish Dungeon?
A Deep Dish Pizza: Corn Dough, Cheese and Tomato on the Cooking Table make the Raw Deep Dish Pizza, then bake it in an oven.
