Azeroth Survivors is a free, fan-made survivors-like set in the World of Warcraft 1.12 world: pick a class, enter a zone and survive the waves while your spells cast themselves. It plays in the browser at wow.aethus.pl or as a Windows download. Below: how to start, what it needs, and all 12 zones with their five bosses, read from the game's own text on October 23, 2026.

    What carries over between runs

    • Gear: bosses drop gear for your class, and it stays in your collection for good. Each class has five named sets, from starter gear to raid tiers; see the class page.
    • Talents: each class earns its own talent points. A class with less talent experience than your best one earns more (the game text gives 20% and 40% bonuses), so new classes catch up.
    • Perks and tabards belong to your account, so every hero of every class has them. Achievements give more perk points; tabards are cosmetic.
    • Companions follow every hero and fetch coins and experience wisps; instincts teach them extra tricks, like fetching battleground runes.
    • Rings, trinkets and amulets come from battleground caches, elites and guardians. Legendary amulets rework one spell each, so they are class-specific.

    Frequently asked questions

What is the official Azeroth Survivors website?

wow.aethus.pl. The game only runs there (or from the Windows download): its own code refuses to start on other domains or inside another site's frame, and sends players to wow.aethus.pl. Look-alike sites with 'azerothsurvivors' in the name are fan guides or ad pages, not the game.

Is Azeroth Survivors made by Blizzard?

No. It's a free fan-made game by Aethus, built on the World of Warcraft 1.12 (Classic-era) world. Blizzard doesn't make or endorse it, and you don't need a WoW account or subscription.

Why won't Azeroth Survivors load in my browser?

It needs WebGPU. Use a current Chrome, Edge or Safari; on Linux Chrome, enable chrome://flags/#enable-unsafe-webgpu. If the page says too many people are playing, the server's daily limit was hit: use the Windows download instead.

    Is Azeroth Survivors free?

Yes. There's a 'Buy me a coffee' link in the menu for tips, but the game itself, in the browser or as a Windows download, costs nothing.

Can I move my Azeroth Survivors progress to another computer?

Yes. Options → Save files → Export Save writes your heroes, opened zones, gear, talents and codex to a file; Import Save on the other machine replaces its progress with it. The game also keeps an hourly backup of the last 5 saves.

Do WoW addons work in Azeroth Survivors?

Addons made for WoW 1.12 work. Install them from Options (pick the .zip files) or put each addon's folder in the game's AddOns folder; they load on your next run.
